1. General Information

(Brigham Young University Pathway Worldwide Online) BYU-Idaho Information
As part of the Three-Year Degree, you will complete a total of 90-104 credits and 3 certificates as part of your degree. You will still be required to complete the same amount of General Education and religion credits as the 120 credit bachelor’s degrees but will not have to complete the 27-30 credits of electives usually taken at the end of the degree.

You will receive an announcement through email informing you of the new Three-Year Degree and letting you know that your Peer Mentor will reach out to you. Peer Mentors will  send you the link to direct you to the tools that will help you decide if moving to the three-year degree will be beneficial.

  1. Peer Mentors reach out to students to find out if they are interested in moving to the Three-Year Degree.
  2. Peer Mentors answer general questions about the Three-Year Degree (general questions that might be on the Three-Year Degree Landing Page or the FAQs Page )
  3. Walk students through the Three-Year Degree Assessment Form, including taking the student through the Three-Year Degree Analysis Tool (also linked below).
  4. Any questions for Advising about the Three-year Degrees should go through the Three-Year Degree Assessment form and not through an escalation ticket. An Advisor will then contact you to answer those questions.

BYU-Idaho students choosing to move to a Three-Year Degree will be moved to the 2024 catalog year.

NOTE: Once a student is moved to the 2024 catalog year, they WILL NOT be able to be moved back to any older catalog year.
