In order for you to receive the PathwayConnect tuition rate, you must do the following:
  • Complete PathwayConnect with at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Pay all past due debts with PathwayConnect
  • Enroll as an Online Student at BYU-Idaho (even if you were initially a Day student)
The opportunity for you to receive this discount does not ever expire no matter how long it has been since you have completed the PathwayConnect program or how many degrees you have completed.

These are the following tuition rates for BYU-Pathway Worldwide:
  • BYU-Idaho tuition rate for Online students who did not previously take PathwayConnect is $135/credit if less than 12 credits. If you take 12 or more credits, the cost would be $1,620 per semester.
  • Tuition for non-members who did not previously take PathwayConnect is $168.75/credit if less than 12 credits. If you take 12 or more credits, the cost would be $2,025 per semester.
  • BYU-Idaho tuition rate for Online Students who previously took PathwayConnect would be the current PathwayConnect tuition rate (Pathway Connect Tuition Information). In the case of 12 or more credits, you will pay the PathwayConnect rate X12. If the tuition rate changes, you will have to pay the new rate
  • Tuition for non-members who previously took PathwayConnect is 25% more than the current PathwayConnect tuition
If you are a PathwayConnect student that switched to On-Campus, you are required to pay the regular campus t tuition rate.

These are the following tuition rates:
  • Church member tuition rate for Online students who did not previously take PathwayConnect is $135/credit. 
  • Tuition for non-members who did not previously take PathwayConnect is $168.75/credit.

In order to receive a full refund, you must drop ALL classes BEFORE the Registration Deadline (Please refer to the Academic Deadlines & Schedule Calendar for dates for Semesters and for Block Courses). If you drop ALL your classes AFTER the deadline, you will receive a prorated refund until 60% of the semester has passed (the last day to withdraw from classes and receive a prorated tuition refund). The prorated amount is calculated based on when you dropped all of your classes. 
There are no prorated refunds for dropping individual classes after the deadline.

This policy is clearly stated within the Financial Responsibility hold that every student receives on their account before each semester's registration.
 
For the second block, you can withdraw from individual courses at a later date than students currently on a non-block schedule. Please see https://www.byui.edu/student-records/academic-deadlines for more information about specific dates.
 
NOTE: If you withdraw or drop ALL classes after the registration deadline and you are eligible for the prorated tuition refund, but then decide that you will lose your admission status (Ex: have already deferred for two semesters and need to take classes to avoid having to reapply) and decide to add second block classes, you will now no longer be withdrawn from the semester so you will be charged back the prorated tuition refund as well as the charges for the second block class. (up to full-time charges which is 12 times the rate of current bill code type).

Ensign College recognizes that there may be situations beyond a student's control where an exception to the above policy may be warranted. The following exceptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine whether the situation merits an exception.
  • Death of the student
  • Death of an immediate family member where continuing school is impractical
  • Medical condition requiring extended medical care where continuing school is impractical
  • Acceptance of a qualifying internship.
